Our AGM with the wonderful Phil Packer
We were delighted to welcome Phil Packer of the British Inspiration Trust (BRIT) to our AGM on Tuesday 18th November. BRIT is a Charity dedicated to enthusing and supporting young people who face adversity. Phil sustained catastrophic spinal cord damage on operational duty in 2008. In 2009 he raised over £1.3million for the wounded. He received the Helen Rollason Award at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year. In 2012 he walked 2012 miles
throughout every county of the UK; with his spinal cord damage this was the equivalent of 310 marathons in 331 days.
Thank you to everyone who turned out for our “Continental Breakfast” AGM on Tuesday 18th November. We were very lucky to have the wonderful Phil Packer and his puppy Poppy along to give a great speech.
We had a wonderful turn out from people throughout the community and we hope you enjoyed the morning as much as we did (croissants included!)
Thank you again to Phil Packer, Powell & Co for designing our invite,SRP for printing and Maison Blanc for the delicious breakfast!
